About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our EC2 team at Amazon Web Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions for EC2 using Java and other programming languages
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine technical direction and implement high-quality code
  • Work closely with EC2 Principal Engineers and other technical leaders to drive technical innovation and growth
  • Develop and maintain software infrastructure that enables EC2 to support millions of devices across the globe
  • Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of EC2 services
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
