We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our dynamic team as a Civil Technical Manager. As a Technical Manager in our Civil team, you will play a pivotal role in our infrastructure project endeavors.
Key Responsibilities- Guide and mentor a team of engineers in technical design skills for transportation projects.
- Take the lead in planning and executing infrastructure projects, from preliminary design to final implementation.
- Provide direct assistance to Project Managers and Design Leaders, contributing to the success of our projects.
- Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Contribute to proposal development.
- Manage and maintain project documentation.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to complete project requirements and deliver a quality design to the client.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or higher, is required.
- 8+ years of roadway design experience.
- MI PE is required.
- MDOT roadway design experience required.
- Experience working with clients such as State and County Departments of Transportation, and municipal.
- Proficient at using MicroStation and/or Inroads (Open Roads Designer required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
