Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist PRN to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing CAT Scan procedures following established protocols, operating the CT scanner during IR procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care and a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs CAT Scan procedures following protocols established by the Radiologist

• Operates the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department

• Maintains work area: Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies

• Adheres to all Infection Prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed

• Maintains licensure and BLS certification

• Stays current with departmental training and participates in clinical activities

• Demonstrates courteous behavior, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills

• Participates in Departmental On Call and Holiday Requirements

Requirements

• Graduate of AMA Approved Radiologic Technologist Program

• Must be enrolled in a qualified Computed Tomography program

• Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)

• Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

• Current NJ-RADTECH License (Radiologic Technologist)

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT Board Certified in Computed Tomography
