Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist PRN to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating the CT scanner, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and adhering to infection prevention protocols. You will also be required to participate in departmental training, maintain licensure and BLS certification, and demonstrate a positive attitude and courteous behavior towards colleagues and patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAT Scan procedures following established protocols and guidelines

• Operate the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, reporting maintenance issues and monitoring supplies and deficiencies

• Adhere to infection prevention policies, utilizing personal protective equipment as needed

• Maintain licensure and BLS certification, staying current with departmental training and education

• Demonstrate a positive attitude and courteous behavior towards colleagues and patients, providing excellent customer service

• Participate in clinical activities, assisting with patient flow and care, and optimizing throughput of patients via Radiology Transport

• Remain compliant with timekeeping rules, adhering to departmental procedures and fulfilling compliance requirements

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technologist program

• Enrolled in a qualified Computed Tomography program

• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

• Current ARRT license (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

• Current NJ-RADTECH license (Radiologic Technologist)

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT board certification in Computed Tomography
