Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Lifespace Communities. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for residents, guests, and team members, providing exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Assist: Welcome and assist all residents, guests, and team members in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Visitor Management: Ensure visitors sign in, validate the purpose of their visit, and notify the resident and team member accordingly.
  • Communication: Answer phones and other communication devices promptly and transfer messages to the appropriate party.
  • Financial Transactions: Perform minor financial transactions associated with selling stamps, community food certificates, faxing, and photocopying.
  • Severe Weather Notification: Notify residents, guests, and team members of severe weather via the paging system and/or phone calls.
  • Mail and Delivery: Receive and distribute mail and other deliveries to the appropriate person or department.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks for supervisors, residents, and guests as requested.
  • Communication Channels: Maintain and update all informational communication channels for residents.
  • Reception Area Setup and Close Down: Perform setup and close-down procedures of the receptionist/front entry area.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Must have the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Learning Ability: No experience required; a willingness to learn is necessary.
