Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Medical-Surgical Orthopedics to join our team at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s), forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. They will foster a culture of accountability and collaboration, supporting the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care through effective leadership and management
  • Forecast, plan, and monitor budgets to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration among team members
  • Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to support facility objectives
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a Bachelors Degree
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 7 days of employment start date
  • 3+ years of applicable experience in a leadership role
