Director of Surgical Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Surgical Services to lead our perioperative team at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of surgical services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the perioperative team in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the surgical services department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and achieving financial goals.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in surgical services.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree in nursing, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a surgical services or perioperative setting.
- Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state of Idaho.
- Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) or Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) certification preferred.
