Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Protocol Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining protocols for distributed and blockchain systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement protocols for distributed and blockchain systems
  • Work closely with the development team to build and maintain a highly scalable and robust blockchain infrastructure
  • Develop smart contracts on Ethereum and other blockchain platforms
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Use GoLang, CosmosSDK, CometBFT for protocol development and implementation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test, and production environments
  • Ensure system consistency and improve the performance and availability of our systems
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and provide input on architectural decisions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in protocol engineering, with a focus on blockchain and distributed systems
  • Proficiency in GoLang
  • Experience with distributed systems and blockchain systems (Cosmos and Ethereum)
  • Strong knowledge of the blockchain industry, including the Ethereum platform and smart contracts
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience leveraging CosmosSDK, CometBFT, Ethermint, IBC
  • Experience with Kubernetes and AWS a nice to have
