Licensed Practical Nurse

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Riverside Health System, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our Williamsburg, VA facility. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for our residents. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the emotional, physical comfort, and safety of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer medications and treatments accurately and according to provider's orders
* Allow resident choices within limits of capability, considering safety and dignity issues, and follow policies and procedures of the facility to include resident privacy and dignity
* Assign duties to non-professional staff, such as CNAs, according to education, training, policy, and resident need, to assure quality resident care is delivered
* Engage team members for optimal performance and address performance as needed
* Contribute to the development, maintenance, or modifications to the individual service plans
* Identify changes in condition with proper documentation according to nursing practice standards
Requirements
* 1 year LPN nursing experience
* Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) upon hire
* CPR/BLS certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 days
