Job Summary

The Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly of standard and custom panels, sub-assemblies, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test higher-level electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Wiring within the system framework
  • Mounting of mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical assemblies
  • May include on-site service work
  • Safely work with standard tools and portable power equipment
  • Read shop drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Read Bills of Materials (BOMs) to determine component parts and assembly sequences

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • 3 – 5 years related work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 – 5 years related experience with vocational or further educational training related to electrical engineering technology
