Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Healthcare Professional to join our team as a Medical Assistant - Medication-Assisted Treatment Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, providing essential support services to clients and clinicians alike.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clinicians in the provision of healthcare services, acting as an advocate for clients, and performing a variety of clinical administrative tasks. This includes collecting health information, performing vital signs, assisting with clinical procedures, and recording medical data in the electronic health record.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collecting health information from clients and maintaining accurate records
  • Performing vital signs and assisting with clinical procedures as required
  • Recording medical data in the electronic health record and performing quality assurance testing
  • Maintaining inventory for medical supplies and equipment, and stocking rooms as needed
Requirements
  • Graduate from an institution recognized by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES)
  • Current or eligible for MA certification in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • 2-3 years' experience in a direct healthcare setting, preferably in public health or community health
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Proficiency in office-based applications, including EMR, Microsoft Office, and Internet use
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including medical, vision, prescription, and dental insurance, employer-paid basic life and long-term disability insurance, retirement plan with employer match, reimbursement accounts, EAP, paid time off, and paid holidays.
