Job Title: Youth Program Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a Youth Program Coordinator to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Erie. As a Youth Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all youth involved in our Kids Club Program.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the site supervisor in ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all youth involved
- Provide proper supervision for the children
- Act as a role model for the youth at all times
- Assist with the welcoming of new youth and facilitate the onboarding of each participant into the Y Program
- Implement programs and activities based on youth development principles
- Keep the recreation site clean and in order

Requirements:

- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with children/youth
- Prior experience leading a group activity (preferred)
- Ability to effectively problem solve utilizing all resources available
- Ability to pass a required Act 33, 34 and FBI clearances
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Work Schedule:

This position is 20-30 hours per week.
