Exciting Opportunity at Knight Transportation

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic-Technician to join our team in Atlanta. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance on heavy trucks and trailers.

About the Role

As a Fleet Diesel Mechanic-Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment, including Freightliner, International, Volvo, Kenworth, Cummins, and Detroit. You will be expected to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair complex issues, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Experience with on-the-job training
* Diploma in vehicle maintenance from vocational or trade school a plus
* Valid driver's license required
* Excellent customer service and computer skills
* Ability to read and understand repair manuals
* Ability to multitask and work as a team
* Must possess the tools required to accomplish the essential job results
