Exciting Opportunity at Knight Transportation

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic-Technician to join our team in Atlanta. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain heavy trucks and trailers
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, HVAC, and electrical systems
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues
  • Test drive equipment if CDL certified
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and CDL certification (if applicable)
  • Ability to read and understand repair manuals
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
