Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at THIRA Health in Bellevue, WA. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in attending to patient medical needs and assisting in the maintenance of a safe therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and tracking patient health history and medical documentation.
  • Perform skin checks on patients with a history of Non-Suicidal Self Injury (NSSI) and inform the team of any observed evidence.
  • Assist patients with self-administered medication while on-site at the program.
  • Administer lab orders and call in prescription refills on behalf of the Chief Medical Officer.
  • Observe and report changes in patient behavior, physical symptoms, and mental health status to the clinical team.
  • Conduct vital sign exams on a weekly basis and document quickly and accurately in the electronic health record.
  • Support and assist psychotherapists, dietitians, art therapists, and milieu support therapists in creating a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Assist with medical supply ordering and track usage of these supplies.
  • Perform job duties while complying with all HIPAA, institutional, and health department regulations.
  • Support Mental Health/Diet Technicians responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
  • WA State CNA licensure in good standing.
  • Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and the ability to transport patients safely in a facility vehicle (preferred).
