As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at THIRA Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining a safe therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with nursing staff to document and manage patient health records effectively.
- Conduct thorough skin assessments for patients with a history of Non-Suicidal Self Injury (NSSI) and communicate findings to the clinical team.
- Assist patients in self-administering medications during their stay at the facility.
- Process lab orders and manage prescription refills under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer.
- Monitor and report any changes in patients' behaviors, physical conditions, and mental health to the healthcare team.
- Perform weekly vital sign checks and ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record system.
- Support psychotherapists, dietitians, and other therapeutic staff in fostering a safe and supportive environment.
- Assist with the ordering and tracking of medical supplies to ensure adequate inventory.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and institutional policies while performing job duties.
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid WA State CNA license in good standing. Experience in a similar role is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is advantageous for transporting patients safely when required.
