Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Technical Product Owner to join our Enterprise Technology team. As a Technical Product Owner, you'll be responsible for bridging the gap between customer needs and engineering teams, ensuring that product requirements are effectively translated into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the customer throughout the development process, advocating for their needs and ensuring their voice is heard.
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather, refine, and document detailed product requirements.
  • Translate requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria with appropriate technical details that guide the development team.
  • Lead sprint planning sessions, set sprint goals, and ensure the development team is aligned with the scope and priorities.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, proactively addressing roadblocks and resolving team queries to achieve sprint and release objectives.
  • Work closely with customers, software developers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient product development and delivery.
  • Act as a product ambassador, both internally and externally, sharing knowledge and providing support to enhance understanding and drive product success.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the product vision, strategic priorities, and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably in a technical environment with complex software products.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Lean, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
  • Solid experience working with software engineering teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills; proven ability to leverage data in decision making and measure product performance using KPIs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues before they impact product delivery.
  • Strong customer empathy and a passion for building products that deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Aerospace software development processes and frameworks.
  • Experience with manufacturing/supply chain systems.
