We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead key enabling functions within our Business & Information Services (BIS) department at firstPRO, Inc. This critical role reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Applications and collaborates with the CIO, other IT leaders, and business stakeholders across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Budget Management: Develop, manage, and optimize the department budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing efficient resource allocation.
  • Project Leadership: Oversee the project management function within BIS, directing specialized project managers and contributing to enterprise-wide project management best practices.
  • Process Innovation: Drive and implement innovative process improvements aligned with industry trends and standards, enhancing overall operational efficiency.
  • Technology Procurement: Lead technology purchasing, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with corporate procurement for maximum efficiency.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with department leaders to enhance overall BIS operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee critical functions, including disaster recovery processes, change management, and operational enhancements.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions Support: Participate in acquisition and divestiture activities, including due diligence and IT planning.
  • Special Projects: Lead high-impact special projects as needed, leveraging expertise to drive business growth.
  • Business Liaison Coordination: Serve as the BIS representative for business relationship management and audit-related activities.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and submit regular performance reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Provide constructive performance feedback and documentation to support employee development.
  • Secure necessary resources and materials for departmental needs, promoting a culture of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and perform related duties as required to ensure seamless operation.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced Leader: 10–15 years of technology leadership experience, with a proven ability to operate at scale and adapt to changing technical and administrative domains.
  • Broad IT Expertise: Hands-on experience across multiple IT areas, including project management, IT operations, and service management.
  • Proven Communicator: Excellent communication skills to envision, design, and implement effective strategies that drive results.
  • Process Innovator: Demonstrated ability to create pragmatic, results-driven processes that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Customer-Focused: Strong service orientation, empathy, and ability to build trust with business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • IT Generalist: Broad technical skills across IT domains, with attention to detail and execution focus to drive business outcomes.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, STEM, Business, or related fields; other degrees considered with relevant technology experience.
  • Certifications: ITIL and PMP preferred; Lean/Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) a plus, demonstrating commitment to process excellence.
  • Additional Experience: IT purchasing and contracting, department budget management, and utilities experience preferred but not required, showcasing adaptability and flexibility.
