Responsibilities
  • Delivering nursing care in post-acute care settings
  • Monitoring vital signs and providing regular updates to the nursing team
  • Observing residents' conditions and reporting any concerns to supervisory staff
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities (ADLs) such as grooming, hygiene, and feeding
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment by changing linens and sanitizing surfaces
  • Acting as a liaison between residents and healthcare staff
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to residents
  • Communicating with family members and addressing their inquiries
  • Safely transporting residents to and from various locations as needed
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current certification as a Patient Care Assistant
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic nursing procedures
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with residents and medical professionals
