Role Overview
This position involves collaboration across various departments (engineering, support, security, compliance, customer success, etc.) to facilitate enhanced integration points, leading to accelerated innovation. As DocuSign embarks on a technological and cultural shift from a Private Cloud Infrastructure to the Public Cloud (Azure), you will be instrumental in guiding this transition, promoting the evolution of our operations, and fostering a genuine DevOps culture.
This role is an individual contributor position reporting directly to the Vice President of Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, manage, and oversee the vulnerability management framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and address vulnerabilities.
- Ensure prompt reporting and communication of vulnerability assessments.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors to maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and uphold audit frameworks and controls.
- Monitor compliance metrics and address any discrepancies.
- Partner with the security team to strengthen the overall security posture.
- Engage in incident response and security incident management.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices.
- Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
- Conduct regular drills and exercises to validate preparedness.
- Coordinate recovery efforts during incidents.
- Regularly update the executive team on vulnerability management and security issues.
- Collaborate with representatives from various business units to provide necessary support.
- Build strong working relationships across the organization.
Hybrid: Employees split their time between in-office and remote work, with access to an office location required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be a weekly in-office expectation).
Positions at DocuSign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid, or Remote, specific to the role/job. Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within DocuSign. DocuSign reserves the right to adjust a position's job designation based on business needs and as permitted by local law.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams in vulnerability management, security, and compliance, including BCDR.
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Relevant certifications.
- Experience in business continuity planning and disaster recovery.
- Understanding of cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
In accordance with applicable legislation, the following pay ranges are provided for specific locations:
California: $151,800 - $245,150 base salary
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $145,800 - $214,350 base salary
This role is also eligible for bonuses, equity, and benefits.
