Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Trinity Health FirstChoice. As a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of practice settings and locations, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for performing various therapeutic procedures, including advanced practice procedures such as operating balloon pumps, working in NICU, and performing Pulmonary Function testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional leadership in the delivery of patient care
  • Use AIDET principles when interfacing/treating every patient
  • Participate in patient rounds and ensure treatments are provided in accordance with physician orders and approved medical protocols
  • Maintain safe respiratory therapy practices and alert management of any safety issues or concerns
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Respiratory Therapist per AARC guidelines
Requirements:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory care
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
