Job Summary:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for performing various therapeutic procedures, including advanced practice procedures such as operating balloon pumps, working in NICU, and performing Pulmonary Function testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and be able to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators
  • Participate in patient rounds and ensure that treatments are provided in accordance with physician orders and approved medical protocols
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • 2 years of experience in respiratory care
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
