About the Job

This 13-week travel assignment is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist to work in Maywood, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have experience working in NICU/PICU/PEDS and will be able to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform various therapeutic procedures, including advanced practice procedures such as operating balloon pumps and working in NICU.
  • Participate in patient rounds and ensure treatments are provided in accordance with physician orders and approved medical protocols.
  • Maintain safe respiratory therapy practices and alert management of any safety issues or concerns.
  • Facilitate good rapport and cooperative relationships, approaching conflict in a constructive manner.
Requirements
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • 2 years of experience as an RRT
  • Ability to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations
  • EPIC experience preferred
