Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Remediation Supervisor to join our team at Cross Environmental Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of field work involved in asbestos abatement projects, supervising labor crews, and ensuring compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and corporate policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct project-assigned labor forces to maintain competent completion of duties.
  • Ensure accurate completion of job-specific, employee-related MER paperwork.
  • Enforce project scope-of-work to optimize compliance with contract documents and corporate policies.
  • Forecast and organize cost-effective utilization of project personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Work safely and ensure crew safety during all phases of job duties.
  • Ability to perform work in varying dimensions, involving squatting and crawling for extended periods.
  • Ability to follow directions, read/speak English, and understand common danger placards and hazardous warning literature.
  • Must be able to safely drive and perform safety checks on vehicles.
  • Project work may require out-of-town travel for two weeks or more.
Requirements
  • Successful work experience in asbestos, remediation, and general construction.
  • Remediation training and/or certification preferred.
  • Experience supervising labor crews.
  • Proficiency driving box trucks and/or driving pick-up trucks with trailers.
  • Must be willing and able to work a variable schedule, including overtime, night, and weekend hours.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Must have a valid DL with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to clear background check processes required to gain access to job sites.
