Job Summary

Rallye BMW is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on BMW vehicles with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to factory and dealership standards.
  • Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and recommend or perform necessary repairs.
  • Examine vehicles to identify additional repair or maintenance needs and communicate with service advisors.
  • Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts.
  • Notify service advisors of any additional work required or changes to the repair order.
  • Document all work performed clearly and accurately.
  • Road test vehicles as needed or refer to inspection technicians.

Requirements:

  • A valid New York State Driver's License.
  • NYS Inspector's License.
  • Previous BMW technician experience is strongly preferred, but automotive technician experience is required.
  • Basic mechanical skills and manual dexterity.
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment, including wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, and diagnostic tools.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
