We are seeking a Project Engineer to support a NAVSEA program for Ship Integrity and Performance Engineering based in Washington, DC in a hybrid capacity.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducts engineering design evaluations and ensures project completion within budget and scheduling constraints.
  • Reviews industry policies and procedures to guarantee data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyzes reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to identify and address problems.
  • Provides technical support for the engineering process.
  • Develops and implements an operational plan for project completion.
  • Monitors progress and performance against the project plan.
  • Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
  • Identifies, develops, and gathers resources necessary for project completion.
  • Prepares engineering designs and work specifications.
  • Develops project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Selects materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.
  • Gains exposure to complex tasks within the job function.
  • Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1-3 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $72,265-$96,000, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations, and may include contractual requirements that may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
