Position Overview
Wind Crest is a picturesque 84-acre continuing care retirement community situated in Highlands Ranch, a short distance from Denver, Colorado. As part of a rapidly expanding network of communities managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national leader in senior living and healthcare, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service and care.
The Gatehouse Representative is responsible for overseeing the entrance to the community, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining safety and security protocols. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including monitoring and documenting all traffic and individuals entering the premises, issuing parking permits and maps, offering clear directions to assist visitors, and guiding emergency response teams to their designated locations.
Compensation: $21.00 per hour
Pay commensurate with experience
Pay frequency: Bi-weekly
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors warmly, providing assistance as needed to all individuals entering the community.
- Screen all vehicular and pedestrian traffic entering the premises according to established Gatehouse procedures.
- Issue appropriate parking permits, maps, and direct visitors to designated parking areas.
- Maintain a detailed log of all visitors and contractors as per the standard Gatehouse protocol.
- Notify the Security and Emergency Services Supervisor of any inspectors, government officials, process servers, or law enforcement personnel attempting to access the community.
- Complete comprehensive Incident Reports using the designated online reporting system.

- Prior experience as a Security Gatehouse Officer is preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or related field.
