Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite non-healthcare professional liability insurance for private businesses, small and medium-sized enterprises, manufacturing, owner and partner risks, business managers, lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, and similar.
  • Produce business from existing brokers and specialty producers as well as identifying, prospecting, and developing new producers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, agents, and other stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and optimal business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in insurance underwriting, preferably in professional liability insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
