Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud architecture that aligns with our business requirements and IT strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement business-relevant solutions.
  • Develop and maintain cloud platform components and services to support the deployment of applications onto the platform.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure.
  • Drive the adoption of cloud and infrastructure as a service across the organization.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams during solution design and build phases.
  • Collaborate with other architects and technical leads to ensure a cohesive and evolving enterprise architecture.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of cloud services and tools.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software architecture and design.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Proven experience in designing solutions in cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of data integration patterns and tools.
  • Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
  • Experience with SOA/Microservices.
  • Experience working with COTS enterprise-class applications.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise automation products.
  • Proven experience in designing, executing, and delivering cloud-based solutions.
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain good relationships with customers and work in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
