Job Opportunity

Mastech Digital is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team. As a key member of our digital transformation services, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud migration strategies that align with our client's mission objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of existing infrastructure and applications to determine cloud readiness.
  • Develop and implement cloud migration/modernization strategies.
  • Design and architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions using AWS and Azure services.
  • Lead the assessment and planning of cloud migration projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, and operations.
  • 4+ years of experience in Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) preferred.
  • Proven experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Extensive experience in application modernization, cloud migration, and DevSecOps practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • At least 4 years of CDC experience.

About the Role:

This is a contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately. The role will not cover relocation expenses, and travel is not required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, and be able to provide technical guidance on cloud-native application development and modernization.
