Cloud Architect Job Description

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to design and implement cloud-based systems for our organization. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for creating architectural blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to guide the implementation of cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design the overall architecture of cloud-based systems, considering scalability, reliability, security, performance, and cost-efficiency factors.
  • Ensure seamless integration of cloud services with existing on-premises systems and applications.
  • Define security policies, protocols, and controls to protect data, applications, and infrastructure in the cloud.
  • Establish governance frameworks, guidelines, and best practices for cloud usage within the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, gather feedback, and align cloud strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in cloud computing.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and written English proficiency.
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role in designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Azure platform, with hands-on experience deploying and managing cloud services.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns and best practices for scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and automation/scripting languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with containerization, microservices architecture, and serverless computing.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure components.
