Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate infusion and injection activities in an outpatient setting.
  • Use a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Establish IV access and access central lines, administer prescribed medications, and monitor patient reactions.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain timely flow of patient care and documentation.
  • Replenish IV carts, clean infusion rooms, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Follow all OSHA guidelines to minimize exposure to bloodborne pathogens and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred).
  • 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar level of patient care.
  • Current and valid California RN License.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certificate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
  • Computer literate; proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with team members and provider offices.
