Position: Process Improvement Analyst

~ Benefits + Paid Time Off

~ 30 hours per week, hybrid/flexible schedule

TECHEAD is in search of a Process Improvement Analyst to identify, document, and enhance business workflows within the organization while facilitating the execution of these processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, design, implement, evaluate, and optimize business workflows to enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with essential stakeholders to pinpoint opportunities for improvement, investigate best practices, and formulate actionable solutions.
  • Develop project plans, adapt them as necessary, and ensure adherence to the implementation process.
  • Collect, organize, validate, and analyze data.
  • Conduct research and extract insights from data to propose enhancements for business operations.
  • Create reports or presentations for leadership to substantiate their insights.
  • Foster relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment and the development of efficient processes in accordance with strategic business goals.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Approximately 3-4 years of experience in producing various user documentation for software, business process documentation, and some technical writing.
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within small teams.
  • Proficient editor and proofreader.
  • Responsible for managing information that documents, explains, or justifies policies, procedures, decisions, operations, and activities of the program.
  • Experience in consolidating and revising existing business processes and documentation.
  • Quick learner, highly comfortable with technology.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, including experience in developing documents with various styles, tables, headers, footers, graphics, and automatic numbering.
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with multiple worksheets, forms, merged cells, cell references, advanced formatting, borders, shading, and formulas.
  • Basic knowledge of SharePoint for document management.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills (Customer Focused).
  • Team-oriented with a positive demeanor, always professional, and a good listener.
  • Individual with a strong work ethic who is goal-oriented.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Possession of a valid Virginia license and reliable transportation is necessary.
