**Job Title:** Special Needs Education Assistant
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Special Needs Education Assistant to join our team at Success on the Spectrum. As a Special Needs Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Autism in their educational and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement lesson plans created by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support the educational and behavioral needs of children with Autism.
- Develop and implement sensory activities, such as arts, crafts, and games, to promote learning and engagement.
- Record notes and progress in our software system to track student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with general end-of-day cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (College Degree preferred)
- No criminal background
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to lift at least 40 pounds, sit on the floor, and be physically active
