Job Overview

Silicon Ranch Corporation is a leading developer, owner, and operator of utility-scale solar energy plants. We deliver energy with zero carbon emissions and zero water consumption needs.

Our team is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of solar energy projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating and supervising construction activities, managing teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with project engineers, designers, and stakeholders to develop construction plans and schedules. Create detailed project timelines, outlining milestones, tasks, and resource allocation.
  2. Team Management: Supervise on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and company personnel. Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide clear instructions to team members.
  3. Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with safety regulations, codes, and company policies. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  4. Quality Control: Monitor construction progress to ensure work is executed according to design specifications and industry standards. Conduct regular quality checks and inspections through the contractor's QC inspectors to identify and address any deviations from project requirements.
  5. Resource Management: Coordinate the procurement and allocation of construction materials, equipment, and tools. Optimize resource utilization to minimize project costs while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing construction projects, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry.
  • Current OSHA 30; First Aid/CPR; and USACE Construction Quality Control Management certifications; or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (Microsoft Office & Procore). Familiar with USACE RMS CM and EM-385-1-1
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring high-quality work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
