The Construction Project Coordinator plays a crucial role within Allegheny Construction Specialties, tasked with managing construction initiatives to optimize profitability and ensure client satisfaction. Collaborating closely with the Site Superintendent, the Coordinator guarantees that all scheduled activities are executed efficiently. Although not directly overseeing field personnel on a daily basis, the Coordinator is instrumental in the overall management and organization of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and comprehend contract documents for designated projects
- Collaborate with the Site Superintendent, Foremen, subcontractors, and clients to develop project strategies
- Track project progress and promptly resolve any arising issues
- Conduct project evaluations and maintain effective communication with all involved parties
- Manage project documentation and foster relationships with clients
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma is mandatory; Bachelor's degree is preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in construction management
Essential Skills
Proficiency in various scheduling software
Excellent communication abilities
Capability to juggle multiple tasks and oversee various functions
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
