The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, with a focus on business development and relationship building. They will be responsible for working with contractors to determine their insurance needs, and will work closely with our insurance markets to provide quality service and build lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine and meet the commercial insurance needs of contractors
  • Maintain strong relationships with contractors and insurance markets
  • Oversee and manage contractor insurance needs, including new business applications, renewals, policy changes, COIs, audits, and claims
  • Promote new insurance policies to existing customers
  • Participate in continuing education programs in insurance

Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in commercial insurance or property and casualty insurance
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of general liability, business auto, tools and equipment, builder's risk, excess or umbrella, and workers' compensation
  • Valid AZ resident P&C insurance license, or willingness to obtain one
  • Valid AZ life insurance license, or willingness to obtain one
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Account management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of AMS360 online agency management system is a plus
