Nurse Practitioner

At All Med Search, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical-Surgical Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Deliver Direct Patient Care: Provide individualized care to patients with a variety of diagnoses and populations, including post-surgical, orthopedic, and neurological/stroke patients.
- Implement and Evaluate Care Plans: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care for each assigned patient, utilizing knowledge of developmental needs appropriate to their age group.
- Administer Medication and Treatments: Administer medication, IV therapy, and treatments to assigned patients in an effective and timely manner.
- Communicate with Patients and Families: Identify and address patient and family education needs, providing clear and concise information to promote understanding and empowerment.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications: Current Texas State Licensure as a Registered Nurse (Compact license accepted, but TX State RN license required within 30 days of hire); Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: At least 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience; willingness to consider candidates with Acute Med-Surg experience within the past 3 years.
Our Medical-Surgical Unit is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment with a ratio of 1:6 to 1:7 patients to nurses.
