Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough compliance assessments and risk evaluations to support EH&S management.
  • Perform regular facility inspections and maintain accurate EH&S documentation.
  • Oversee the Hazardous Waste Storage area, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, including proper labeling and disposal practices.
  • Assist in the compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare necessary EH&S reports, including Tier II Stormwater DMRs.
  • Provide guidance on EH&S matters and recommend improvements to facility management.
  • Engage in incident investigations and conduct Root Cause Analysis.
  • Collaborate with facility staff to develop Task Hazard Analysis (THA).
  • Support the creation and delivery of relevant EH&S training programs.
  • Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with safety equipment usage.
  • Maintain constructive relationships with management, employees, customers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Assist in managing compliance programs such as LOTO, Hazard Communication, and Respiratory Protection.
  • Adhere to all company policies and EH&S procedures.
Compensation

Salary: up to $105,000

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Environmental Health and Safety role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences or related field.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
  • Experience in the environmental industry, particularly with hazardous waste.
  • HAZWOPER Certification (24 or 40 hours).
  • Experience in technical writing.
