We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist III to join our team at Methodist Hospital Texsan. As a key member of our Laboratory Department, you will be responsible for performing complex medical laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Perform specimen processing and testing, including moderate and high complexity testing.
- Analyze test results and assume accountability for accuracy.
- Anticipate and evaluate the need for new methods, instrumentation, and technology.
- Assure compliance with accrediting agencies and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a resource to customers and manage assigned projects.
- Understand, perform, and practice quality control management and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in a Clinical Laboratory setting.
- MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), MT(AMT), MT(AAB), CLS(NCA), MT(HEW), MLT(ASCP), MLT(HEW) certification required.
