Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse

Mankato Clinic is seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our physicians and providers.
Key Responsibilities- Assist providers and departments with daily operations, maintaining an efficient schedule and communicating updates as needed.
- Perform core nursing functions as required, including administering medications and documenting patient data in our Electronic Health Record system.
- Provide patient education and support, distributing educational materials and observing patients for reactions.
- Utilize effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Current LPN license or degree/diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
- CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Ability to utilize computer systems for daily work.
- Strong patient-centered skills, accountability, teamwork, integrity, and excellence.
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA) or registration (RMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
- Employment is contingent on successful completion of drug screening, health assessment, and background check.
