Job Summary

We are seeking a clinical psychiatrist to join our interdisciplinary team at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. As a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, you will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care, teach and mentor students and residents, and engage in research and scholarly activities.

About the Department

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health is a vibrant and growing section with over 50 members. Our department offers a range of unique programs and services, including inpatient and ambulatory psychiatry, student mental health, neuromodulation, consult-liaison, addiction psychiatry/addiction medicine, neuropsychiatry, women's behavioral health, and crisis psychiatry.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care within the established Medical Center standards of practice.
  • Teach and mentor students and residents in psychiatry and related fields.
  • Contribute to research and scholarly activities, including publications and presentations.
  • Represent the department at conferences, meetings, and community events.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $250,000 per year, plus benefits and incentives. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, tuition assistance, and state or alternative retirement options.
