About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Ice Skating Instructor to lead learn-to-skate classes at our outdoor ice skating rink. As an instructor, you will be responsible for organizing, leading, and teaching basic ice-skating skills, figure skating skills, and/or hockey skills to students of all ages and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and lead classes, emphasizing safety and fun
- Set up and clean up after classes
- Track and evaluate student progress and performance
- Attend in-house training sessions
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must be skilled at ice skating
- Must have knowledge or experience with the organization and supervision of skating school classes
- Must have experience working with children ages 3 and above, children with special needs, and adults
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
As an Ice Skating Instructor, you will work in outdoor conditions, including cold, wind, snow, and sleet. You must be able to work standing or skating for extended periods and have the ability to see and communicate effectively with students.
