Job Title: Dietary Manager in LTC Setting

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Dietary Manager to join our team at Summit LTC Management LLC. As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our foodservice department, ensuring that food quality, safety standards, and client expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the foodservice team to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents and comply with federal and state regulations.
  • Manage food inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal use and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in food service management or related field preferred.
  • Current certification as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
