  • Plan and execute produce ordering and processing to meet sales and profit goals.
  • Manage labor and safety of produce associates, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Ensure the supply and rotation of fresh, high-quality produce, meeting customer expectations and company standards.
  • Oversee the correct ordering, receiving, unloading, and storage of merchandise, as well as the building of displays and other tasks assigned by management.
  • Provide training and supervision to new associates, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of produce inventory management and merchandising principles.
  • Experience in a retail or grocery environment, preferably in a produce department.
