Job Summary

The Building People, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our contracting team, you will be responsible for procuring a wide range of design and construction services, supplies, and other services utilizing various acquisition methods and contracting vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure goods and services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency policies
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify best pricing and value
  • Develop and manage contracts, including price/cost analysis, administration, and termination
  • Provide direction and guidance to purchase goods or services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field or 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management
  • Four years of experience in contracting or a similar position
  • 40 hours of professional acquisition-related training
