Main Responsibilities
  • Vendor Invoice Processing: Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring timely payment and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Vendor Statement Reconciliations: Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Payment Proposal Preparation: Prepare payment proposals for approval, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Accounts Payable Account Reconciliations: Reconcile accounts payable accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Month-End Close Process: Collaborate with the General Ledger and Finance teams to close open issues and manage the accounting period following the company's closing deadline.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in accounts payable
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Appreciated any other languages (mainly Spanish/Portuguese)
  • Strong IT skills: Proficient in MS Office
  • Team worker, positive-minded and open to learn
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or business administration preferred
