HVH ASSISTANT MANAGER OF HOUSEKEEPING
The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is seeking an HVH Assistant Manager of Housekeeping who embodies a passion for service excellence and brings enthusiasm to every task. Our HVH Assistant Manager of Housekeeping plays a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by showcasing extensive knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying our core values in every interaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee a team of Room Attendants and House Attendants tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of designated residential areas. Responsibilities include interviewing, training, and scheduling staff, as well as conducting performance evaluations and managing disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Organize daily work schedules, assign tasks, and manage daily status updates for assigned homes.
- Assist with all lost and found procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the Engineering department regarding maintenance needs for golf carts.
- Adhere to loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
- Support the implementation of a thorough inspection program for all residential properties.
- Assist in managing linen inventory and guest supplies, including ordering additional supplies as needed.
- Monitor service behaviors of staff and provide constructive feedback to enhance service quality.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Address guest concerns and complaints, seeking supervisory assistance when required.
- Review guest feedback and satisfaction metrics with team members.
- Set a positive example in guest relations.
- Track the daily progress of each Room Attendant.
- Conduct inspections of completed homes to ensure compliance with Four Seasons standards, providing coaching to staff when deficiencies are identified.
- Manage inventory to guarantee sufficient supplies.
- Investigate complaints related to housekeeping services and equipment, assisting management with corrective measures.
- Facilitate orientation training for new employees, covering company policies, housekeeping procedures, and equipment maintenance.
- Document work assignments, employee performance, and time records, preparing periodic reports as needed.
- Participate in regular staff meetings with other department heads to discuss policies, guest feedback, and service improvement recommendations.
- Assist management in preparing reports on room occupancy, payroll, and departmental expenses.
- Plan work schedules to ensure adequate service levels.
- Support and supervise an effective inspection program for all guest rooms and public areas.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of products, including room types, amenities, services, and brand standards.
