About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Assistant Manager to join our team at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. As a key member of our Housekeeping Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of Housekeeping staff, including interviewing, training, and scheduling employees.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure that high standards of cleanliness and maintenance are met.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas of the resort are clean and well-maintained.
- Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Office and Food and Beverage, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Monitor and control labor costs and other departmental expenses to ensure that they are within budget.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest housekeeping techniques and technologies.
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role, preferably in a luxury resort environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
