Full-Time Patient Representative

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to provide exceptional patient care in our Mt Holly office. As a Patient Representative, you will play a vital role in changing the lives of patients every day.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of customer service experience, with medical office customer service being highly favored. You must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while ensuring excellent patient care. You will work as part of a cohesive team, maintain accuracy, and be dependable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check in patients, collect payments, verify and/or update insurance, and obtain proper insurance documentation and demographic information.
  • Process new patient paperwork and/or updated paperwork.
  • Follow established procedures to prepare for upcoming appointments.
  • Explain insurance authorization to patients as necessary.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments as requested by the physician.
  • Count petty cash and document on a log.
  • Comply with all processes and HIPAA regulations.
  • Apply our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals.
  • Promote a positive work environment through effective teamwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by changing needs, patient flow, or physician request.
